This one day forum will build skills enabling women to be problem solvers and action takers in their own community.

Who is up for a challenge? Are you ready to be trained as an Agent for Change? The North East Downs Landcare Women are taking the challenge and charge other women to do the same. Katherine Mansfield (author 1888-1923) believed that we should ‘Risk! Risk anything! Care no more for the opinions of others, for those voices. Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth.”

The ‘Agents for Change’ one day forum will build skills enabling women to be problem solvers and action takers in their own community.
The forum will take a closer look at adapting to climate change, what this means for rural women and their families. Women play an active role in all aspects of financial and risk management of farm operations. They play multiple roles within the capacities of agricultural partners, business managers, independent agricultural producers, agricultural helpers, and farm homemakers. The changing dynamics and economics of the farm operation and the farm household lead to the changing roles women play on the farm today.
Agents for Change forum will give you the chance to discover new opportunities and develop your own personal action plan to take home and put in to practice. You will interact with a variety of talented informative people who will expand your ways of thinking. During registration you will be able to view the mini expo showcasing a variety of products to help you on your way. At lunch you will enjoy a fashion show.
